Dr. Joyce Rosalind Aryee is the former CEO of the Ghana Chamber of Mines and the first woman to head an African Chamber of mines. She is the Founder and Executive Director of Salt & Light Ministries, and a professional counselor and management consultant who has dedicated over 38 years of service to Ghana. She is the recipient of the State Award of Companion of the Order of the Volta (2006), the CIMG Marketing Woman of the Year (2007) and the African Leadership on Center for Economic Development's African Female Business Leader of the Year (2009).

 

Irene Ackuaku is the Chief Finance Officer of the Trust Bank and the first and only female member of the bank's highest decision-making body, The Trust Bank Executive Committee. Irene is a chartered accountant by profession and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ghana. She holds an Executive MBA in Money and Banking from the Ghana Institute of Management & Public Administration. Like LLN, Irene is passionate about mentoring": "Life is like a relay race," she says. "Those of us who start early have the responsibility to give the next generation a head start as we pass along the baton." Irene has actively mentored many young women in Ghana and in 2008 she established a youth ladies' mentoring program within the Accra Ridge Church.

 

Efeh Amoah is a Director with Standard Chartered Bank’s (Ghana) Transaction Banking Unit.  She has worked in banking over the last ten years and is a seasoned trainer who has facilitated professional programs across several African countries.  She writes and speaks both English and French and is currently learning Chinese. Efeh is passionate facilitator of personal development and actively mentors several rising young professionals in the banking industry.  She believes that “because of the grace that God gives, everything is possible; it only depends on you.”  She is married with 2 daughters.  Her hobbies are reading, watching movies, consulting on landscaping and interior design.

 

Dr. Esi Ansah is a founding partner and the current CEO of Axis Human Capital Ltd. Since 2008, Esi has managed Axis, growing its client base and establishing it as a respectable partner in recruiting high-calibre candidates for clients. Esi uses Axis as a platform to provide mentoring and career coaching to job and career-seekers, and is especially passionate about working with young students and professionals. Dr. Ansah serves as the Head of the Business Administration Department at Ashesi University College. She loves teaching and research, and is highly engaged in various initiatives in her academic community. She was voted by students as the Outstanding Faculty Member in 2008, and also as the Most Inspiring Faculty Member in 2010. She also holds a PhD in Public Administration from Rutgers University in New Jersey. Esi is a fellow in the Aspen Institute’s Africa Leadership Initiative. Esi earned Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology, International Affairs and French from the Florida State University in 1999, graduating with honors in just three years. She holds master’s degrees in Social Sciences and Public Service Management from the University of Chicago and DePaul University, respectively.

 

Debbie Ajei-Godson is a formidable preacher on the spirituality and wholeness of women and has served as a mentor to several young women across the country. She is a founding partner of Adroit Enterprise Solutions Ltd, an internet business solutions provider that specializes in electronic payments, website design and hosting, and general e-commerce. As one of the few women in the IT services industry in Ghana, Debbie has proven expertise in IT Project Management, eBusiness Design and Strategy, Business Intelligence, and IT Service Management from the banking and telecommunications industries in Ghana. Debbie holds a degree in Computer Science from Ashesi University College and has a variety of interests and hobbies which include traveling, commerce, and spending time with her family.
